Live-Cinema tribute to Spanish artist José Val del Omar presented at Valladolid International Film Festival, SEMINCI.
Colaborative project: José Venditti, Marta Verde.

(EN) José Val del Omar was one of the most transcendent experimental film directors of the second half of the 20th century in Spain.
In 1928 he already anticipated several of his most characteristic techniques, including the “desbordamiento apanorámico de la imagen“ outside the limits of the screen and the concept of “tactile vision”.
These techniques, and those of the “diaphonic sound” and other explorations in the sound field, would apply them in his Elemental Triptych of Spain, started in 1952 and only concluded posthumously.
The piece √ÅL ∆EL ØMÅ®, developed by the interactive artist Marta Verde and José Venditti, is a reinterpretation of both visual and sound techniques created by the director and inventor, from a digital perspective, using contemporary techniques and resources.
A personal tribute that was presented in the LAVA space, within the framework of the International Film Week of Valladolid, SEMINCI.

En 1928 anticipó ya varias de sus técnicas más características, incluyendo el ''desbordamiento apanorámico de la imagen'' fuera de los límites de la pantalla y el concepto de ''visión táctil''.
Dichas técnicas, y las del ''sonido diafónico'' y otras exploraciones en el campo sonoro, las aplicaría en su Tríptico Elemental de España, iniciado en 1952 y sólo concluido póstumamente.
La pieza √ÅL ∆EL ØMÅ®, desarrollada por la artista interactiva Marta Verde y José Venditti, es una reinterpretación de las técnicas tanto visuales como sonoras creadas por el director e inventor, desde una perspectiva digital, utilizando técnicas y recursos contemporáneos.
Un homenaje personal que fue presentado en el espacio LAVA, en el marco de la Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid, SEMINCI.
